For Ten Years . . .

Tom Waits was something of a resident artist here at Prairie Sun, discovering the vast potential of a storage room off the Live Chamber as a recording space and further developing his sonic signature in partnership with such engineers as Tchad Blake, Biff Dawes, and Oz Fritz. Now forever known as The Waits Room, this unusual tracking room/echo chamber (located in what is now Studio C) played host to the following body of work:
