Prairie Sun's Studio A houses an 80 input SSL 4080 G/E, G+/TR mixing desk with VCA automation and Total Recall. The 600 sq/ft control room was designed by Manny Lacarruba of SAW (Sausalito Audio Works) and commissioned by "The Desk Doctor" Bruce Millet. Studio A is the main mix room and also has a 75sq/ft Iso-booth with a high ceilings that is great for vocal and guitar over-dubs. Multitrack machines include a Studer A820 24-track and a 24in/48out Pro Tools HD system. Mixdown to 1/2" or 1/4" tape, or go straight to digital with the best A/D converters in the business, the Lavry Blues. Studio A is connected via audio feed lines to our world famous Live Acoustic Chambers as well as studios B and C.
