This is the holy grail, the crème de la crème.
In the 1970s Martin, like many production guitar makers
have before or since, had to abandon the use of prized Brazilian
rosewood and instead switch to the less desirable, yet more
widely available, Indian varieties. This particular `68 D28
is the most flawless vintage guitar most of us will ever see,
with strikingly beautiful Brazilian back and sides, and the
sound that defines Martin dreadnoughts. *Because of the exceptional
condition of this guitar, it is a museum piece and is entirely
unavailable for play, even to Mooka himself.
